With the second half of the year now underway, and the school holidays in full effect, it's time again to take a look at the new stuff that you'll be able to watch on Netflix this July.

Starting with Netflix's original shows, there's a new comedy series coming to Netflix at the end of the month based on the star studded movie Wet Hot American Summer - Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp features a similar star heavy cast (Paul Rudd, who wasn't even sure he got paid doing the first movie or not; Bradley Cooper, Elizabeth Banks, John Slattery and Jon Hamm from Mad Men, Chris Pine and many many more), taking us back to the summer of 1981, back to Camp Firewood.

The wait is also over for BoJack Horseman fans, with season 2 coming on the 17th. This clever animated comedy series follows the story BoJack, the equine star of a washed up 90's sitcom (think Full House, which, incidentally, is being re-animated by Netflix), voiced by the always funny Will Arnett (Arrested Development), and also starring Alison Brie from Community and Aaron Paul from Breaking Bad. Fans of animated shows like Archer and Bob's Burger should definitely check this series out.

Other originals include season 2 of Knights of Sidonia and Turbo FAST.

For movie fans, we have the Michael Jordan Looney Tunes crossover Space Jam. There's also Mission Impossible 3, Monster’s Ball, and the creepy supernatural thriller 1408.

Documentary lovers are well served with Micro Monsters with David Attenborough, and the eye opening God Loves Uganda.
