Stan: What's New For 27 June - 3 July, 2015

A busy week of new titles on Stan, following last week's slight breather, with something for everyone to enjoy for the week 27 June to 3 July, 2015.

The highlights of the week include the Jim Morrison biopic The Doors, that other magician movie from that year The Illusionist, and Steve Martin is in fine form in L.A. Story.

In the hidden gem category, The Baader Meinhof Complex is well worth a watch, as is George Washington, from the director of Pineapple Express and Your Highness. Hidden, but perhaps not that much of a gem, is Robert Duvall's tribute to tango (the dance) and hitmen, inb 2002's Assassination Tango - and no, I'm not making any of this up.

Some of the week's better known movies, or at least movies with better known stars, are Swordfish and the Farrelly brothers' The Heartbreak Kid.

And for the kids this school holiday, we have Wallace and Gromit in The Wrong Trousers, A Close Shave, A Grand Day Out and A Matter of Loaf and Death.
