Welcome again to our weekly feature where we look at the most popular streaming movies and TV shows in Australia based on data collected by streaming search engine JustWatch. Data includes subscription streaming as well as transactional streaming titles. Click here to read last week's roundup.

Movies:

The headlining movie that will surely help promote the relatively new to Australia HBO Max, Superman, has finally arrived. No surprises that it was the most-streamed movie for the week.

The sad passing of acting great Robert Redford meant that many decided now was the perfect time to catch up on the actor's great body of work, including Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid in second, All the President's Men in 4th, The Sting (also on Paramount+) in 6th, and "The Way We Were" (Foxtel Now) in 7th.

The Little Things was 8th, and the Disney+ original Bumble app origin story Swiped debuts in 10th.

"Thunderbolts*", "Downton Abbey", "28 Days Later", "Force of Nature: The Dry 2", "Unknown Number: The High School Catfish", "Conclave", and "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone" all left the top 10.

Television:

The Emmys happened, and a lot of the streaming shows we know and love were rightly rewarded, including top of the chart The Pitt, "The Studio" (Apple TV+) in 5th. Last year's big Emmy winner, "The Morning Show" (Apple TV+), returns for a new season and was 9th.

New Netflix show Black Rabbit debuts in third, and Accused was 8th.

"The Paper", "Only Murders in the Building", "Wednesday", "The Terminal List: Dark Wolf", and "Peacemaker" exited the top 10 this week.
