Pitch Perfect spin-off, a new Russell Crowe movie, a heist with great music, and catching the original before the (musical) remake. These are just some of the highlights this week. Read on to find out more.
Plenty of shows with new episodes this week, but in terms of truly "new to Stan", we have something for fans of Adam Devine and the "Pitch Perfect" series (we understand there might be quite a big overlap between these two sets). Pitch Perfect: Bumper in Berlin is a spin-off TV show focusing on the character Bumper Allen from the movie, who moves to Germany in search of fame and fortune.
Russell Crowe stars in Stan's original movie about the world of high stake poker, Poker Face.
There is also the very watchable, and listenable, heist action thriller Baby Driver, questionable casting (in hindsight) aside.
And finally, before you catch the Netflix musical remake, the original 1996 movie version of Matilda was a more than adequate, if not quite superb, adaptation of the classic Roald Dahl book of the same name.
