Stan: What's New For 30 August - 5 September 2022

A movie and TV show combo, bad nuns, and a movie about singing. These are just some of the highlights this week. Read on to find out more.

Television:

Harry Potter's Rupert Grint stars in the TV version of the hit movie "Snatch", in a series with the exact same name. The show only lasted two seasons and you can stream seasons of Snatch right now.

There is also a new French series, Trauma, while the second season of Bloods has also arrived.

Movies, Documentaries:

An eclectic selection of movies this week, in no particular order below.

If you wanted to watch a horror movie about nuns, then The Nun is probably right up your alley.

Both My Girl and The Perks of Being a Wallflower are coming-of-age stories with a subtext of trauma and tragedy, but both are very different, but still very good, movies.

And of course, for those wanting to watch the Rupert Grint series of the same name, the movie version of Snatch is probably not a prerequisite, but probably also not a bad idea to watch.

And finally, if you're after a light movie with lots of hit songs, Pitch Perfect 3 is the one for you.
