Must-see classic movies, and some new stuff too. Find out more by reading below, where we take a look at the highlights from Stan this past week. Read on to find out more.
There's a new BBC series Traces arriving on Stan (the entire first season ready to stream), and this being another week, it means another Drag Race, this time Drag Race Philippines (new episodes coming weekly). There is also the new Mark Strong British series Temple, the complete first season is available to stream right now.
There are also new seasons of That Damn Michael Che (season 2), and the Polish crime series The Defence (season 3).
Sean Penn acts and directs along with his daughter Dylan Penn and son Hopper Penn in the fairly recent crime drama Flag Day - accusations of nepotism apart, this one really divides critics and fans alike, so I guess it's one you have to judge for yourself.
Less divisive is the really fun Game Night - it's not Shakespeare, but as a relaxing comedy to watch on a Friday night, this can't be beat.
Going into classic territory, the sci-fi classic Gattaca is an immersive, thrilling film that's up there with the best sci-fi, while the original Gremlins combines cute and horror in a very successful package (the sequel is more comedic).
And we have also both of the Sex and the City movies, along with a few more Insidious ones.
For the kids, the original Space Jam still stands as solid entertainment, especially if they've watched the recent sequel/reboot and want more Bugs and co.
