This new British comedy series, Hitmen, hasn't been met with universal acclaim, but you might have better luck with it. Or maybe not - you've been warned.
Much more interesting from an Aussie perspective are the miniseries Paper Giants: The Birth of Cleo and Paper Giants: Magazine Wars. Think of them as Underbelly, but for the women's magazine industry.
Before you catch the sequel, you might want to catch the original. The Hitman's Bodyguard is a fun comedy/action film and you know it's a fun ride just by knowing that Ryan Reynolds and Samuel L. Jackson star in it.
The Grindhouse double feature Planet Terror and Death Proof are great homages to the genre, and so will always be worth a watch.
Moving into the must-watch territory, The NeverEnding Story and Requiem for a Dream are very different movies, but both are classics in their own right and have occupied a permanent place in our cultural conversations (ie. people still reference and talk about them even so many years later).
Two documentaries, but again of two very different types. Watch Epstein's Shadow: Ghislaine Maxwell first and then cleanse your palate with the cute Animal Conversations.
