Welcome back to our weekly feature in which we take a look at what's been happening on the Australian streaming platform Stan for the past week.
In TV land, there's a new "old" show for you to binge on - all the first 12 seasons of Supernatural. Now that's a lot of episode! If that's not enough, then new comedy series White Famous might be worth a watch (although judging by the early reviews, erm, maybe not?).
Good Behavior is back, new episodes from the second season will air on a weekly basis. For those eagerly anticipating the new season of RuPaul's Drag Race: All Stars, the exclusive "Queen Ruveal" reveals the cast of the upcoming season.
For movies, it's a bit quieter this week, with a few movies, but none that would really be considered as a "must-see". Despite the very 80's "high concept" premise, and the fact that Zac Efron is in it, 17 Again is actually not too bad, considering. The Hollars is directed and starred in by The Office's John Krasinski, along with Anna Kendrick, Charlie Day, Margo Martindale and Richard Jenkins, and is a nice family dramedy that has been described as touching and funny, or just merely "okay". Probably somewhere in between.
The Japanese film Kumiko, the Treasure Hunter certainly has an interesting premise ("A jaded Japanese woman discovers a hidden copy of Fargo (1996) on VHS, believing it to be a treasure map indicating the location of a large case of money." - yeah, I know), but whether the film achieves what it wanted to do, that's somewhat more debatable. Best way to settle such a debate? Watch the film! The French film Breathe may also be worth a watch.
