There’s plenty to look forward to in March for Stan subscribers with exclusive movie premieres, new series and some old classics to pull up a piece of couch and enjoy.

Perhaps the biggest coup for Stan is the addition of Mad Max: Fury Road, the latest addition to George Miller’s juggernaut that made Mel Gibson a star almost four decades ago. This time around it’s Tom Hardy (Inception) and Charlize Theron (Monster) navigating the brutal post-apocalyptic world. Nominated for 10 Oscars, Fury Road proves that Max is as captivating now as he was in 1979.

Also exclusive to Stan, new series Happyish arrives on March 4. Starring British actor Steve Coogan (Night at the Museum) and Kathryn Hahn (Transparent), the comedy/drama follows forty-something couple Thom and Lee Payne as they grapple with being ‘half way to dead’ in a youth-obsessed culture.

Looking for something a little racier? You’ll want to check out reality show, Gigolos. As the title suggests, this is the uncensored story of five high-end male escorts working hard (boom tish!) in Las Vegas.

A healthy dose of laughter is delivered via a host of new comedy additions in March. Enjoying well-earned superstardom right now is Amy Schumer. Fans can take a look at where it all began in Amy Schumer: Mostly Sex Stuff, the 1 –hour stand-up special that introduced the world to Amy’s up close and personal style of comedy. Nothing is off-limits!

Also check out Key & Peele and The Kroll Show for loads of sketch comedy fun.

Feeling nostalgic? Step back in time with the classic Aussie series, Seachange. Who could forget David Wenham as Diver Dan? Or maybe you’re feeling the need for speed, in which case, Top Gun should sort you out. Maverick (Tom Cruise) and Goose (Anthony Edwards) accompanied by an old school soundtrack; what’s not to love? Go on. You know you want to.

Trekkies take note. This month, Stan becomes the official home of Star Trek. From March 26, you can enjoy every episode ever of this iconic series. We Vulcan salute your major binge watching session!

And while we’re at it, Degrassi fans prepare to be excited as every single episode of Degrassi Junior High, Degrassi High and Degrassi: The Next Generation comes to Stan. Stay tuned for some classic Canadian teen angst.

Fans of world cinema should mark the first of the month when five new titles are added. A Frozen Flower, from South Korea, is an historical drama set in the Koryo dynasty and centres on the relationship between a king and his bodyguard. Fans of quirky French beauty, Audrey Tautou (Amélie), will enjoy the addition of the film Mood Indigo which tells the unusual story of a man’s quest to save his lover who is afflicted with a mysterious illness that causes flowers to grow in her lungs.
