It's the start of a new month, and Stan has a huge list of new additions, some weird, some wonderful, and lot of it rather kinky/adult.
We start with the hugely controversial Love by Gaspar Noé, often described as a pornographic film that somehow sneaked passed the censors (with potentially the most NSFW poster you'll ever see, not the one safe-ish-for-work one we posted with this article, - don't Google it at work folks, seriously), this is the same R18+ version that was shown in cinemas here in Australia, now available for instant streaming here on Stan. Continuing the theme (is it because of Valentine's Day?), there's the first four Emmanuelle movies, the famous French soft porn films from the mid 70's to the mid 80's, and the list goes on (see the full list below for yourself if you don't believe me).
Moving away towards the more mainstream, we have an eclectic mix classics such as Mad Max; modern day Sundance winners in Fruitvale Station; horror schlock in Apollo 18, and films that may deserve a rewatch (then again, probably not), like The Golden Compass.
A bunch of documentaries are also added, shows like Planes That Changed The World, Australia's own Hipsters, and the groundbreaking doco Years of Living Dangerously - some of these shows may be familiar to SBS viewers, I bet.
A lot of the content above will also be familiar for those that have Netflix, since a lot of titles have been leaving the service for the likes of Stan and Presto in recent times.
TV fans have a lot of Nickelodeon tween/teen shows, like iCarly, Every Witch Way and Zoey 101, again shows that used to grace Netflix before. There's also some critically acclaimed shows now calling Stan home (thanks to recent content deals), including Ray Donovan and fresh from the US new episodes of Billions. The Golden Age of television is coming to Stan!
